The TSA staff I encountered leaving and returning were the rudest most facetious individuals that I have had the misfortune to encounter in that position. I would probably start with staff training in common courtesy and then work up to having a workable plan when the inevitable problems arise. UNITED AiRLInES, get the HECK out of EWR!!!! WE JUST SPENT OVER 3 HOURS BETWEEN THE TARMAC/ARRIVAL DELAYS, THE CRAPPY IMMIGRATION SERVICE, AND THEN NAVIGATING THE MAZE OF THE FACILITY ITSELF, and we STILL came close to not making our connecting flight. up elevators, down elevators, on some sort of train tram thing, then down long hallways, inside the building outside the building.

We had 2 toddlers, all this luggage, and had to walk the half mile or more distance from Concourse B to Concourse A. Since we had a “Smart Cart” because there was no way of doing it without one, we were unable to take a shuttle. However, instead of being able to conveniently recheck our backs at the baggage transfer desk WHICH WAS ALREADY CLOSED, they made us take 6, large checked bags, all our carryons, to an entirely different concourse. Once we finally were allowed past immigration, we went to collect our luggage. Our connection was departing at 10:30 something. THEN, after we finally deplaned, we had to wait for at least 20 maybe 30 minutes just for them to open immigration to check us back into the US. Then they had to locate an international arrival gate for us. then, after about a half hour, we taxied towards the terminal. Upon landing, we sat, sandwiched between 2 runways, because the air traffic was so heavy. Avoid this airport if at all possible! We were scheduled to switch planes in EWR after arriving from a Caribbean (MBJ) location on 8/1/23.
